01 — OUR APPROACH
You need an engineering partner, not a rental supplier.
We provide mobile, modular and turnkey power and energy services for oil and gas operations across the GCC. We combine rental agility with engineering depth to keep critical assets online in the most demanding environments.
In an industry where no two projects are the same, and where everything counts, we design, deliver and operate bespoke solutions that support your assets from construction, start-up and testing through production, maintenance and decommissioning: upstream, midstream and downstream.
02 — WHERE WE WORK
Where we support oil and gas operations.

Upstream
Drilling, production and remote field facilities, including flare-gas-to-power for captive loads.
Discuss a upstream project
Midstream
Pumping, compression and processing sites, temporary power during construction and commissioning.
Discuss a midstream project
Downstream
Refineries, tank farms and petrochemical facilities, including power during planned shutdowns.
Discuss a downstream project03 — HAZARDOUS AREAS
Zone 2 generators, certified per unit.
SINTAQA supplies containerised diesel generators converted for Zone 2 hazardous areas, where an explosive gas atmosphere is not expected in normal operation but may occur for short periods: well sites, processing and compression facilities, refineries and tank farms.
SINTAQA 1,250 kVA generator units can be converted for Zone 2 applications using the required certified safety components and project-specific modifications. Certification and documentation are prepared for the converted unit in accordance with the applicable project and client requirements. Standard fleet units are not delivered as Zone 2 by default; conversion is project-specific. Certified SINTAQA units have already operated on client sites. A Zone 2 conversion includes:
- ATEX- and ADNOC-approved air intake shutoff valve (Chalwyn D-series, II 2G Ex h IIB T3 Gb) that closes automatically to stop engine runaway if flammable gas is drawn in with the intake air
- ATEX- and ADNOC-approved stainless steel 316L exhaust spark arrestor (Chalwyn, EN 1834), approved for Zone 1 and Zone 2 hazardous areas
- ATEX product certificates for the fitted components, and an ATEX certificate issued for the converted unit
Certified per unit
The ATEX certificate is issued for the specific generator you receive, not for a type or a brochure.
ADNOC: vendor and equipment
SINTAQA is registered as a vendor with ADNOC. ADNOC-approved generator units are available for applicable ADNOC projects. ADNOC-approved fuel-tank configurations are available. ADNOC-approved components are used where required by project specifications.
Fleet convertible
Any relevant SINTAQA 1,250 kVA unit can be converted for Zone 2 for a project. Units are not delivered as Zone 2 by default.
Approved components
ADNOC-approved shutoff valves and spark arrestors from Chalwyn (AMOT, UK), widely used in the oil and gas industry.
What is a Zone 2 generator?
A Zone 2 generator is a generator adapted and certified to run in a Zone 2 hazardous area, where an explosive gas atmosphere is not expected in normal operation and would only be present briefly. An air intake shutoff valve stops the engine running away on ingested gas, and an exhaust spark arrestor stops hot particles leaving the exhaust.
| Component | Function |
|---|---|
| Air intake shutoff valve | Runaway protection: closes if flammable gas is drawn in with intake air |
| Exhaust spark arrestor | Controls the ignition risk from hot exhaust particles |
| Certification and documentation | ATEX product certificates for the components and an ATEX certificate for the specific converted unit |
